The bookstore at Ed. Varie is a constantly evolving shop that houses a wide range of books and zines from self-publishers and independent publishers from all around the world. We focus on art books, as well as special and limited edition offerings, many of which there are less than 100 copies printed and in circulation worldwide.

Over the years we have celebrated books in a variety of ways and hosted numerous events that are easiest described as book launches, some in collaboration with an exhibition in the gallery, and others in collaboration with friends new and old. We have also participated in the NY Art Book Fair, and the 8 Ball Zine Fair since it’s inception in June of 2012, and currently have a pop up at the New Museum Store.
